Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 15, 2026

At Resolve ("we," "our," or "us"), we believe your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1. Information Collection

We design our systems to minimize data collection. Most of your data, including your habits, journal entries, and focus logs, is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account.

1.1 Personal Data

  • Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and name.
  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., number of active users, crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be promoted to identify you personally.

1.2 User Content

Data you enter into the app (Habits, Tasks, Journal entries, Photos, Voice notes) is stored securely. If Cloud Sync is enabled, this data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud container. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the minimal data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service.
  • To notify you about changes to our Service.
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features when you choose to do so.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as described in this policy:

  • Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies (e.g., analytics providers like TelemetryDeck or Mixpanel, payment processors like Apple/RevenueCat) to facilitate our Service. These third parties have access to your data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for data transmission. Your personal content is protected by the security features of your device (FaceID/TouchID/Passcode) and your Apple ID.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you. Since most data is stored locally or in your iCloud, you can delete it directly through the app or your iPhone settings. If you have an account with us, you can request account deletion by contacting support.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "effective date."
